It’s a lazy, rainy Saturday here in
California. I can’t complain since we
desperately needed the rain. It gives me
an excuse to take it easy and spend sometime catching up on school work and
wedding planning. I am linking up with
Gina from Third Grade Tidbits for Slim Down Saturdays. This accountability has
really helped me in my journey, so I highly recommend linking up if you haven’t
already.

Ultimate goal:
I
am
on track to meet by weight loss goal by my April wedding. Now I am focusing on toning up for the big
day.
Gain/Loss for the week:
I
guess six days at the gym really paid off this week. I’ll take a pound loss a week any day.
Total since starting:
With
9.2 pounds lost, the tens place has changed. I try not to get wrapped up in a
number, but I know the weight that I feel healthy and comfortable at, and I’m
almost there.
Positives form the week: I
have fallen in love with cycling again.
This past week, I attended two cycling
classes (including a 6 A.M. class) and cycled on my own 3 other days. I was able to make it to the gym every day
but Tuesday this week and began the 31-Day challenges for arms, abs, and legs.
Something to do better: The
arms challenge involves push-ups and I’ve been doing “girl” push ups. I would love to be able to do full push ups,
so that will be something I work on doing better this week.
Goal for next week: My
goal is to stay focused on healthy eating and exercising even with all the
craziness of Valentine’s Day. I’m not a
huge candy fan, but with rain on the forecast….my stress level is definitely
high. I know California needs the rain,
but I could do without crazy-hyper students.
My fiancé and I are also going away next weekend, so I will need all my
willpower
to avoid overindulging during our mini-vacation.
One word: “Love”:
With
Valentines Day on the horizon, I can’t help but think about love this
week. My love list includes my fiancé,
my family, my dogs, my students, and I can’t forget myself. I feel so much better about myself since
starting to eat healthy and exercise in January.
Yay! You are almost there! I do girl pushups too! I can do like 2 or 3 real ones haha. Someday! Keep it up!
