Currently and a Shower

Happy Sunday! I missed the Slim Down Saturdays update yesterday because I have been out of town and away from a scale, but today I am linking up with Farley for Currently.

Yesterday my amazing mom hosted an bridal shower for me.

The original plan was an outdoor party, but the weather changed all that.  It showered on my shower, so I was listening to the rain all day and night long.  Nothing could stop the party though.  I am loving that I have so many great women in my life who came to celebrate with me.  I keep thinking about and counting down the days until I am married…48 days from today  I can’t believe how fast time is flying now.

Since I live about 400 miles away from where I grew up and where my parents live, I don’t see everyone that often.  It was a memorable day, but I am definitely wanting an extra day in this weekend.  I flew down early Saturday morning and am flying back tonight.  I have no idea how I will prepare for the upcoming week, but this weekend was definitely worth it.  My bachelorette party is in 4 weeks, and I can’t wait because I am really needing some sun and warmth.  There is nothing better than lying by the pool with a delicious beverage in my hand.  Plus, I would love to get a little color on my skin before our wedding day.  The answer to my question is “rain boots,” can you guess the question????????

I hope everyone has an awesome week.  We have a fun-filled Reading Week planned to kick off March is Reading Month at our school.  The fun all starts with pajama day tomorrow and lots of Dr. Seuss themed activities.
