Happy Saturday! I am linking up again with Gina from Third Grade Tidbits for Slim Down Saturdays.
This has been a great experience so far with all the support from other teacher bloggers. I highly recommend linking up.
Now for this week's update:
Ultimate goal: I tried on my wedding dress this past week while at the seamstress’s. It fits, but I definitely want to tone up my arms for the big day.
Gain/Loss for the week: I lost 2.4 pounds this week. After seeing zero pounds last week, I was frustrated. It all paid off this week though.
Total since starting: I'm down 7 pounds over the past 3 weeks.
Positives form the week: I
finally made it to a spinning class on Friday night. It was amazing! I will definitely be trying
to make it to a class or two each week.
Something to do better: I’ve
been falling asleep on the couch and then struggling to fall back asleep once
in bed. I need to get more consistent
sleep by getting into bed before falling asleep.
Goal for next week: Eating
healthier can get boring when I repeat the same healthy dinners too often. Last night I tried a delicious pad Thai
made with spaghetti squash instead of noodles…mmm. This week I will try at least one new recipe
to spice up our dinners.
One word: “Excited: I am
excited for my wedding…it’s just 83 days away.
We have been checking off a lot of things on our to-do list this past
week.

Sounds like you are doing great! 7 pounds in 3 weeks is great! Sleep is also in the mix on my post today. In fact, I've been doing a little reading about how sleep affects your weight. You can read more about it on my post.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your goal for the week! What a wonderful idea to make it a goal to try a new recipe or two! Love it!

Congrats on your 7 pounds! I did a spinning class once. It was a work-out for sure!
ReplyDeleteI don't cook, but I've been finding a lot of great healthy food pins on Pinterest for my Jerm to make! So yum!

7 pounds in 3 weeks is awesome! Keep it up! I went to spinning a few years ago and I felt so DUMB because I had no idea how to adjust anything they were telling me to adjust. I just pedaled away like I had a clue haha. But it was definitely a workout! And actually fun because of the music and atmosphere. Keep it up!
