Monday Meet Me

I apologize that I have been M.I.A. for so long. Thanks to Teaching Tribune, I am back in the blogging world this Monday morning for Monday Meet Me.

I teach: This is my first year teaching second grade, and I love it! As of right now, I will be teaching second grade next year as well.  I have already started making changes to make next year even better.
I have: I have 4 more days until summer vacation, yet my to-do list is a mile long to finish up this school year and prepare for my best friend’s bachelorette party this weekend.
I watch: My husband loves sports, so we watch a lot of sports in this house.
I listen: Thanks to Pandora and Go Noodle, I listen to music all day long.  My students love Koo Koo Kangaroo and all of their silly songs.  We also belt out to Disney songs throughout the day.
I read: During the school year, I rarely start up an actual book.  I do, however, read “chapters” worth of blogs each day.  I do have a list of books ready for summer reading.  We will be on planes a lot this summer, so hopefully I can get a lot of reading done.
I do: I got married on April 19th and haven’t been back to share any of the pictures, so here you go:

  2. Congratulations on your wedding. Oh yeah, my class loved the song "Let it Go." They sang it with such passion- hilarious! I am a California blogger too.
